LUNA PARK’S CODE OF CONDUCT

Luna Park’s mission is to provide a friendly, safe and clean environment with amusement and
entertainment activities that create a memorable experience for the entire family. To encourage
all of our guests to be considerate, guests are required to comply with the following rules:

Behavior: Guests must behave in an appropriate family-friendly manner. Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Intoxicated guests, guests that appear under the influence of illegal substances and any other violators will be escorted from the park without refund.

Dress Guidelines: Luna Park is a family oriented park. Proper attire is required at all times. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times when riding. Clothing with rude, vulgar, offensive language or images is not permitted. Guests will be escorted from the park if clothing is not suitable for a family environment.

Language: Guests using profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures will be escorted from the park without refund.

Lost Children: We hope it does not happen, but be prepared just in case your little one gets separated from you. Parents should contact the first available Host for assistance if a child is lost. Also, if your child is old enough, designate an easy-to-find meeting place to gather if someone gets lost.

Commercial Photography: By entering the park, guests grant Luna Park the right to photograph, film, video or record him/her on park property for any reason without payment or consideration. No commercial photography will be allowed on park premises without the written consent of Luna Park management. No ancillary photography/videography equipment may be brought into the park, including but not limited to lights, tripods or reflectors.

Disabled Guests: Some amusement park rides may not be accessible for people who are disabled or do not have the ability to enter, transfer and exit certain rides and may be inappropriate and dangerous for their use. For questions regarding our safety policies, visit the guest services.

Food & Beverage: Alcoholic beverages purchased in Luna Park may not leave the premises.  Guests consuming alcohol in excess will be escorted from the park without refund.

Animals/Pets: With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted in Luna Park. Pets may not be left on any of the sidewalks that surround the park premises.

Inclement Weather: Rides may be closed temporarily during electrical storms, heavy rain or high winds.  Rides will reopen when safe operations can be assured. There are no refunds for inclement weather.

Line Jumping: Line jumping is strictly prohibited. Guests are not allowed to save places in line or exit the line and return for any reason. Violators will be escorted from the park without refund.

Loose Articles: Loose articles, such as cell phones and cameras, are not allowed on the rides and should be left with non-riders. Personal items should not interfere with safety harnesses. Luna Park and its employees are not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items. Personal items that are lost in the ride areas should be reported to the ride operator. Luna Park management will make every effort to retrieve lost articles after normal operating hours.

No Smoking: Luna Park, Cyclone and B&B Carousell is a smoke-free facilities.  Absolutely no smoking is permitted in the parks or on the rides.

Restricted: Firearms, knifes, razor blades, weapons or any objects capable of causing harm are not  permitted on the premises. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters and rollerblades are not permitted on the premises. Guests are not permitted to enter any restricted area. Guests entering restricted areas will be
escorted from the park without refund.

Restrooms: Restrooms at Luna Park are for paying guests only. Luna Park does not offer public restrooms. Public restrooms are located on the Riegellman Boardwalk.

Ride Height Requirements: If you are visiting Luna Park with children under 48 inches in height (or you are just not sure), make sure to measure your child at the color coded height stick located at every ride.  The height stick helps you and your children quickly identify which rides he or she is tall enough to ride based on the minimum height requirements established by the ride manufacturers to ensure Guest safety.

Ride Restrictions: Safety is Luna Park’s top priority. Due to the restraining devices of certain rides, guests of certain size and stature may not be able to partake in certain rides.

Ride Symbols: At each Luna Park ride, you will find a posted symbol with a number indicating its
intensity. Four symbols are used throughout the Park, Purple triangle with the number 4 indicates Extreme Thrill Rides, green diamond with a number 3 indicates High Thrill Rides, orange octogan with the number 2 indicates Moderate Thrill Rides and pink circle with the number 1 indicates Mild Thrill Rides.  Along with watching the actual ride or attraction, the symbols are posted to help Guests make a more informed decision as to whether or not they wish to participate. 

First Aid Station: Should you require medical assistance, Luna Park’s First Aid Station is located by the Front Entrance of the Park. There are medical personnel on duty at all times during park operating hours. Ask any Host for assistance or directions.

Rider Responsibility: There are inherent risks in the participation of any amusement ride. Guests must exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner while on the Cyclone Rollerscoaster, Luna Park and B&B Carousell rides. Guests must follow all oral and written warnings and properly use all ride safety equipment provided. Guests that do not comply with ride rules will be escorted from the park without refund. Please refer to the specific guidelines posted at the entrance of every ride.

Law Compliance: Guest safety is Luna Park’s number one priority. In addition to this Code of Conduct, guests are required to follow all local, state and federal laws, rules and instructions.

Lost & Found: Lost and Found is located at Guest Services inside Luna Park. Or you may call the Lost & Found Dept. 718-373-5862 Ext 0.

Warning: There are inherent risks in riding any amusement rides. If you choose to ride, you accept all of these risks. Restrictions of guests of extreme size (height or weight) are posted at certain rides. Participate responsibly - you should be in good health to ride safely. You should know your physical conditions and limitations. If you suspect your health could be at risk for any reason, or riding could aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, DO NOT RIDE. Please abide by all safety warnings
and notices. A responsible person must be a responsible companion capable of ensuring all safety rules.
